Pain-Coping Coaching

Experience less pain
and feel more control with confidence

Have you noticed that pain hits during the most inconvenient times?

Over the holidays, in the middle of the night, on the weekends - those are exactly the times when it's impossible to get an appointment with anyone.

I won’t be there in the middle of the night, but after working with me, you will know exactly how to handle those unexpected flare ups calmly and confidently.

What you do right away - the minute pain strikes - can be key to determining how long it will last and how bad it will get.

Ease your worry - Learn how to help yourself and know when to get outside help.

Hands-on care like manual therapy can very effectively ease pain by soothing the nervous system...temporarily.

But I have to tell you a secret: The type of treatment and practitioner skill level don't matter as much as you think.

Most of the time, the biggest pain breakthroughs have very little to do with the treatment itself.

It's during conversation when important details about the pain and the person come to light.

That's the real secret to the Pain Coping Coaching system.  It's highly personalized with effective strategies and it's through this collaborative conversation that you become able to solve your pain problem.

Over the past 3 decades in clinical practice, I’ve developed a system for unpacking and de-mystifying many different situations for thousands of patients.

These are some of the elements of my system that I'd like to share with you.  Together we'll decide which approach is right for you.

Precision Problem Solving
What is it?

We’ll take time to review your whole pain history and identify specific areas that need focus.

Together, we’ll decide what things you can change right now in your daily life, to give you immediate relief and keep things from getting worse, while also setting you up for success as you move forward.

I will help you develop an initial plan of action to support quick results for sustained relief.

Your unique plan of action will involve establishing your best next steps – which may include identifying which type of healthcare provider you should consider seeing next, what specifically to ask for help with, or how to go it alone (if that's safe to do in your case).

Most pain advice out there is either about a quick fix or it’s geared towards chronic pain with the idea that the pain is here to stay. I don’t accept that.

I love the challenge of a good mystery and believe there is always an answer with potential for change.

Sometimes we just need a little help listening to our own inner voice about what’s going on and what it is that we really need to make the shift that we deserve.

Let’s talk and find out if you’re ready to uncover some better pain coping for your unique situation.
